CURRICULUM
Our curriculum offers a thoughtful balance of indoor and outdoor learning experiences designed to nurture the whole child. Students participate in a wide range of enriching subjects, including Gardening & Botanical Exploration, Astronomy, Cooking, Creative Writing, Drama & Theater, Music, Life Skills, Social Studies & Cultural Exploration, and Math Foundations. We believe education should be dynamic, hands-on, and connected to real life, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. When enrolling in our program, each child has the opportunity to experience every part of our curriculum without additional or add-on fees. This approach allows young learners to explore all subjects freely, discover new passions, and build confidence through meaningful, well-rounded experiences that connect learning with life beyond the classroom.
Curriculum
student-centered experience where learners explore areas of interest while socializing in a safe environment. The workshops/ lessons will range in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math, and will include engaging activities in pods like games/challenges, cooking, building, painting, physical activities, and more.
Indoor and Outdoor spaces
Scheduled indoor and outdoor activities play a vital role in a child’s overall growth and development. Having structured, intentional time for movement, exploration, and creativity provides children with balance, focus, and a sense of rhythm in their day. Outdoor activities foster physical health, curiosity, and a deeper connection to nature, encouraging problem-solving, teamwork, and emotional regulation. Meanwhile, indoor activities offer opportunities for concentration, skill-building, and imaginative play within a safe and supportive environment. Together, these experiences create a holistic learning atmosphere where children can engage both their bodies and minds, supporting not only academic progress but also social, emotional, and physical well-being.
Math Foundations Pre Algebra / Elementary Math Fundamentals
Our Math Foundations and Pre-Algebra program is designed to build confidence, strengthen essential skills, and prepare students for higher-level math with a solid understanding of core concepts. Through engaging lessons and hands-on practice, students review and master key fundamentals such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, including multi-digit operations, to ensure fluency and accuracy. As they progress, they begin exploring foundational pre-algebra topics, including variables, fractions, decimals, and mixed numbers. This gradual transition helps students connect basic arithmetic to more abstract mathematical thinking, laying the groundwork for success in Algebra 1 and 2. By reinforcing both computation and critical reasoning, the program equips students with the tools and confidence to approach problem-solving with curiosity and clarity.
Social Studies and Cultural Exploration
Join us on an exciting journey around the world as we explore the rich diversity of cultures, histories, and traditions that make our global community so vibrant. In this engaging, hands-on class, students will discover how people across the world live, celebrate, and connect through storytelling, art, dance, music, and cuisine. Each week highlights a different region or culture, inviting students to experience the beauty of global customs and heritages through interactive activities and creative projects. From cooking traditional dishes to learning folk dances and creating cultural crafts, students will gain a deeper appreciation for the values, beliefs, and shared humanity that unite us all. This immersive “world travel” experience encourages curiosity, empathy, and respect for others while helping children see the world through a broader and more compassionate lens.
Life Skills
Our Life Skills program empowers students with the essential tools they need to thrive both in and beyond the classroom. Through engaging discussions, hands-on activities, and real-life practice, students will learn what life skills are, why they matter, and how to apply them in everyday situations. We’ll explore key areas such as self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, communication, and relationship-building—helping students grow in confidence and character. Lessons will also focus on practical skills like critical and creative thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and time management, as well as everyday essentials like proper sleep habits, coping with stress, interview preparation, and even the art of a confident handshake. This well-rounded course encourages independence, resilience, and responsibility, equipping students with lifelong skills that foster success in school, relationships, and the world around them.
Drama / Theater Club
Step into the spotlight and discover the exciting world of theater! In our Drama and Theater Club, students will build confidence, creativity, and teamwork as they explore the art of performance. Through engaging lessons in acting, improvisation, character development, and scene study, students will learn to express themselves and bring stories to life on stage. Beyond acting, participants will also gain insight into the behind-the-scenes elements of theater, including stage direction, movement, and basic production design. The program encourages collaboration, imagination, and self-expression while helping students develop strong communication and presentation skills. Each session culminates in a special end-of-term performance where families are invited to enjoy a showcase of the students’ hard work, talent, and creativity—a celebration of growth, courage, and the joy of storytelling.
Music
Our Music program invites students to explore the joy and creativity of sound through hands-on experience with a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, and drums. Each lesson encourages students to develop rhythm, coordination, and musical expression while learning the fundamentals of melody, harmony, and tempo. Music education nurtures both sides of the brain, enhancing memory, focus, and emotional well-being—and helps children build confidence, patience, and self-discipline. Whether they’re practicing simple notes on the piano, strumming chords on the guitar, or keeping the beat on the drums, students learn to express themselves in meaningful ways while working collaboratively and creatively. By engaging with music, students gain not only technical skills but also an appreciation for art, culture, and the universal language that connects people across the world.
Creative Writing for Kids
Unleash your imagination and discover the joy of storytelling in our Creative Writing for Kids class! This engaging program invites young writers to explore their creativity through fun prompts, guided exercises, and interactive discussions. Students will learn how to develop characters, build settings, and craft meaningful plots while finding their own unique voice as writers. Along the way, they’ll gain essential tools for organizing ideas, expanding vocabulary, and communicating clearly and confidently. Cooking
In our hands-on Cooking class, students will step into the role of young chefs and explore the fun, creativity, and science behind preparing delicious meals. Each week, they’ll make a variety of both savory and sweet dishes, learning essential culinary skills such as measuring ingredients, following recipes, seasoning foods, and understanding proper kitchen and food safety practices. Along the way, students will also discover the importance of nutrition, teamwork, and patience in the cooking process. This class encourages curiosity and confidence in the kitchen as students experiment with flavors, textures, and techniques from different cuisines around the world. Best of all, every participant gets to enjoy the fruits of their labor by tasting and sharing everything they prepare! Whether it’s baking, chopping, or plating with pride, this course turns cooking into a joyful, educational experience that nurtures creativity, independence, and a lifelong appreciation for good food.
Astronomy
Get ready to journey beyond Earth and explore the wonders of the universe in our hands-on Astronomy class! Students will dive deep into the mysteries of space as we study planets, stars, galaxies, nebulae, black holes, and other fascinating celestial phenomena. Through interactive lessons and engaging experiments, students will learn how our solar system and the greater cosmos work, discovering how gravity, light, and motion shape the world we see above us. Each class combines scientific learning with creativity and curiosity, encouraging students to think like astronomers as they make real-world connections to the night sky. Supporting materials and take-home projects will extend the learning experience beyond the classroom, helping students continue their exploration from home. This course inspires wonder, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the universe. Lab fee required.
Gardening & Botanical Explorations
Step into the garden and discover the incredible world of plants through hands-on learning and exploration! In this interactive class, students will dig, plant, and nurture both wildflowers and vegetables while uncovering the science and wonder behind how plants grow, thrive, and sustain life on Earth. We’ll explore topics like photosynthesis, soil health, pollination, and the essential roles plants play in our environment and food systems. Each session combines outdoor gardening with creative, nature-inspired art and craft projects that deepen appreciation for the natural world. Students will have the opportunity to observe growth cycles, care for living plants, and even take home seeds or small potted plants to continue their gardening journey beyond the classroom. Elementary Science with Experiments
Dive into the exciting and sometimes delightfully messy world of science through hands-on exploration and discovery! In this interactive class, students will learn how to think like scientists as they explore the scientific method, observing, questioning, experimenting, and drawing conclusions. Each lesson introduces engaging topics across earth, physical, and life sciences, helping students understand how the world around them works. Animal Biology with Lab
In this hands-on biology course, students will explore the fascinating world of animal anatomy and physiology through guided lab experiences. During the first session, students will participate in the dissection of a squid and a worm, gaining an up-close look at the internal structures and systems that make each organism unique. Science with Lab
In this dynamic and interactive course, students will dive into the wonders of science through a combination of exploration, experimentation, and discovery. Each session introduces engaging topics such as the states of matter, ecosystems, forces and energy, and the incredible systems that make up the human body. Students will also learn to apply the scientific method, observing, questioning, testing, and analyzing results, to better understand how science explains the world around us. During the first session, students will take part in an exciting hands-on lab, dissecting a pig heart to study anatomy and the circulatory system in detail. This immersive approach not only strengthens comprehension of key scientific concepts but also fosters curiosity, problem-solving, and a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of life and the physical world.
